Every May, SwimTrek holds its annual Guides Training weekend and 2019's edition was our biggest and most ambitious to date. With 33 guides both new and old joining us in Brighton over 5 days, the SwimTrek Operations team delivered their specialist programme to produce the best possible guides to lead your swimming holidays! Check out our photo diary of the weekend below.

New and old guides come together!
The SwimTrek guides training process is a rigorous one to make sure we select only the very best to run our trips. Guides are given a comprehensive course in all aspects of the guiding role, from boat handling exercises, coaching techniques and first aid training, to customer service and relationship management in location.
And of course we make time for a trip to the pub or two for our new and old guides to form some lasting friendships!
