Who Are Group Trips For?

A SwimTrek group trip is for everyone! We’ve organised training camps for swimming clubs, taken groups of family and friends on bucket-list adventures, and worked with schools and businesses to organise team-building activities and events.

Friends and Families

Many SwimTrekkers go away as solo travellers, and come back not only with amazing stories and experiences, but also lifelong friends. It's not uncommon to hear about groups of SwimTrekkers that decide to book an entire departure with swimmers they met on previous trips.

We've also taken groups of family and friends on week-long island-hopping adventures in Greece and bucket list trips like the Galapagos Islands. Whether it’s for a special occasion or a yearly family getaway, we can create a trip that suits a range of different requirements and swimming abilities.

Swimming Clubs

For swim clubs, we can organise pre-season training camps with full safety open water swims and 50m pool training. If you’re a swim coach, a SwimTrek group trip is the perfect opportunity to challenge your swimmers and lead your coaching sessions from inspiring locations. Schools

Many of our locations are suitable for school groups, with large accommodation options and staff experienced with managing groups of teenagers. We have swim guides who work with the accompanying teachers and coaches on getting a programme to suit the children. Our trips are an excellent opportunity for different levels of swimmers to challenge themselves within safe limits in special locations.

We've also worked with corporate groups to arrange everything from one-day events on the River Thames to team-building days away. We have a number of different single and multi-day swim trips which can be tailored into corporate days away, and our itineraries can be curated to cater for all ability levels.

As your hosts for the trip, our guides bring the SwimTrek magic to every swim! As trained open water lifeguards, they’re there to guide your group, offer support and make sure everyone has a fantastic time in the water.

Our guides dynamically assess the conditions each day and where possible will adapt your swims to give your group the best possible experience. With trained lifeguards, dedicated safety support assets and all of the pre-trip planning sorted, we take care of the safety and organisation so your group can focus on enjoying the water together.

FAQs and Helpful Information

How many people do you need for a private trip?

We can organise a trip for groups of 5-32 people, and the more people that come, the better discounts we can offer.

Is there a discount for group bookings?

There are discounts available for most of our trips, and the discount will depend on the trip, the dates, and the group size. The larger the group, the larger the discount. So, the more, the merrier!

There is unfortunately no group discount available on our Galapagos Islands and Galapagos Explorer trips.

How is payment organised for group bookings?

There’s no need to worry about payment pressure; you can choose to have either a lead booker, or we can create separate accounts and invoices for each swimmer to pay for their share.

How do I create a group booking?

Book a call below with our friendly Groups Team or contact groups@swimtrek.com with your group size, preferred destination and dates, swimming abilities, and whether you want a standard or private/tailor-made departure.

One of the team will confirm availability, discuss options for tailoring the trip to your preferences, as well as discuss pricing and group discounts.

Can we organise tailor-made trips?

We can arrange trips on bespoke dates for certain trips, depending on the location and availability. We can also discuss options for adjusting swim distances or adding activities, such as yoga, hiking, and more. However, we cannot arrange bespoke trips in new destinations that we do not already run trips in.

Do you arrange group transfers?

We do not book transfers for trips that don’t have a transfer included in the package. We can assist you by providing the information to book a transfer.
